Endemic: there are only two flycatcher species in the Galapagos, the vermilion flycatcher and the Galapagos Flycatcher, as opposed to the 150 on the Mainland.  You can distinguish the two because the vermilion flycatcher is bright red and black, whereas the Galapagos Flycatcher is light brown and beige and is slightly larger than the vermilion flycatcher.  The Galapagos Flycatcher is common in the dry areas and can be easily seen by tourists, also because it is known to be inquisitive and fearless.  However, the Vermilion Flycatcher is mostly seen in the Highlands.
