Mostly found in Genovesa and the Northern Islands, these small Boobies are seen perched nesting in trees and shrubs as opposed to the other boobies that are mostly found on rocks or the ground.  The Red-Footed Booby is either mostly brown as seen in this photo or white.  There is no reason why they are brown or white.  There is a possibility of 140,000 pairs in Genovesa alone.  While sitting on the Angelique in Genovesa I looked up and thought there were frigate birds overhead, which was a normal sight.  But to my surprise it was Red-Footed Boobies overhead and a fair amount perched on the front of the boat below the sail.  It was an exciting sight to see!
