| Immerse Tourism believes in the conservation efforts in the Galapagos and works with local organizations to aid in any way it can to ensure the future of the Galapagos. We are also conscious that the Galapagos receives more than 160,000 tourists a year and of those tourists only 20% of the money spent on tourism stays in the Galapagos. Immerse Tourism works with local boat owners, restaurants, and hotels and believe in giving back to the local economy. |

Immerse Tourism also donates money
to Galapagos ICE Organization, a 501(c)3, non-profit organization.
Galapagos ICE supports programs in health, education and
conservation throughout the islands and has been recognized by the
Municipal Government in the Galapagos for its collaboration in the
community. The travel agency also
works with locals to promote local tourism, such as a local organic
coffee farm in Bellavista, on Santa Cruz Island. Immerse Tourism looks for groups of volunteers to work with projects in the Galapagos. For more information please send an e-mail to: info@immersetourism.com. |
